Accommodations

For out-of-town guests, we recommend staying at any of the hotels listed below. Transportation to and from the Queirolo home will be provided on the day of the wedding, as parking is extremely limited. We will have shuttles doing pick up and drop off at specific times at each hotel prior to the ceremony and throughout the night after the reception.

How to book with a room block code

For Avon Old Farms Hotel and The Farmington Inn, use the code on the hotel card and follow these steps:

  1. Go to the hotel website and click Special Code or Add Code.
  2. Select Group attendee code.
  3. Enter the room block code.
  4. The site may say no rooms are available. Change the dates to June 11–13 — those nights are unblocked for our group.

Transportation

By car

For those living in the New England/Northeast region, you’re in luck—you’ve got an easy trip! Farmington is a ~1.45 hr drive from the Boston area and ~2 hr drive from the NYC area.

By plane

For those planning to fly in for the celebration, you have several options:

  • Bradley International Airport in Hartford, the closest airport to Farmington, only ~30 minutes away. This is a smaller airport and availability of direct flights to and from certain locations may be limited or require a connection.
  • Logan International Airport in Boston, ~2 hour drive to Farmington.
  • New York City area airports (JFK, LGA, Newark) are all a ~2 hour drive to Farmington.

What is the dress code for the events?

Welcome Party: Cocktail Casual

  • Women: Short, Midi, Or Long Dresses
  • Men: Suit Jacket, No Tie, Button Downs, Linen Shirts, Etc.

Wedding: Festive Summer Formal

  • Women: Long Or Mid-Length Dresses; Fun Pantsuit; Bright Summer Colors, Florals, And Patterns Are Encouraged!
  • Most events will be taking place on grass, so please take that into consideration when choosing footwear. Block heels or flats recommended.
  • Men: Suit And Tie. Color/Material: Choose Your Own Adventure
Are kids invited?

While we love your little ones, the wedding is an adults-only event.

Can I drive to the wedding?

No. Parking at the Queirolo home is extremely limited, so we ask that you refrain from driving to the wedding. Shuttle buses will be provided to and from the hotels. For those not staying at a hotel, please plan to meet at one of the hotels to be picked up and dropped off by the shuttle. Ubers in the area are very limited, so we recommend taking one of the shuttles.
